Demonstration
Our demonstrator for the meeting will be John Orlando Birt, who will talk about watercolour.
John’s demonstration of some of the finer points of mastering this medium is sure to be thought provoking and full of ideas for both novices and those with plenty of experience.

Demonstration
Our demonstrator for the meeting will be long-time member, Richard Stokes, who will talk about perspective.
Richard’s demonstrations on this all important skill are always thought provoking and full of ideas for both novices and those with plenty of experience.

Demonstration – After a long break due to COVID 19 restrictions, the Society will hold its first meeting for 2021.
Our demonstrator for the meeting will be long-time member, Joy Brown, who will show us various scratchboard techniques.
Joy’s demonstrations are always interesting and full of ideas for both novices and those with plenty of experience in scratchboarding.
So come and join us for what promises to be a very informative demonstration.

Our final meeting for 2020 will be the Christmas get together. The format will be different from usual as the meeting will be run via zoom.
The meeting will be held at 5.00 pm on Monday 7 December, rather than our normal meeting time.
We are hoping that members will enter into the Christmas spirit by dressing up and adding some decorations in the background.
Another members’ zoom meeting will be held at 2.00 pm on 27 November 2020.
Members will be sent a link to the meeting.

Our first demonstration via zoom will be held at 2.00 pm on 22 November, when we will have the rare opportunity to have Maxwell Wilks as the demonstrator. He will demonstrate oil painting.
You will have the advantage of looking directly at the canvas as Maxwell works.
Maxwell is a member of the prestigious Melbourne Twenty Art Society , established in 1918, and a Fellow of the Victorian Artist Society.
This is a demonstration not to be missed.
Members will be sent a link to the meeting, and non-members can join by first sending a message via the Get in Contact Form on the website. Financial Memberscan participate for FREE, while non-members will be required to pay $20.00.
After a lengthy period without meetings due to the Coronavirus, the society has resumed meeting. However, instead of meeting at the usual venue, the meetings are being held via zoom.
