Demonstration – The demonstration will be given by Amanda Ruck, a local artist, who will demonstrate a range of techniques for working with Acrylic.
Amanda is a highly-qualified and very experienced artist and teacher. She graduated from the Canberra School of Art in 1988 with a Bachelor of Art (Visual) in Printmaking. After teaching Lithography at the School of Art, she moved to Melbourne. When her focus shifted to landscapes, particularly clouds, she decided to move to the Yarra Valley. Her technique has changed over time, evolving from printmaking, cutting and pasting, using collage, ink, and pastel to her current painting with acrylic on canvas.
This demonstration is sure to be interesting and informative for artists with all levels of experience, so make sure you reserve the date for an enjoyable and educational afternoon.
