Time – 1:30pm to 4:00 pm
Demonstration – The demonstration this month will be given by Antoinette Blyth. She will demonstrate a diversity of watercolour techniques, with a focus on flowers.
Antoinette holds a Bachelor of Education specializing in art, photography and performing arts. Watercolour has always been the medium that has fascinated her. Although she began her painting life in oils, it was always her desire to paint in watercolour.
In October 2005, Antoinette had her first solo Exhibition in watercolour, at Very Special Kids Gallery in Malvern Victoria. Since then, she has won many awards and her works are in collections around Australia and overseas.
As well as the passion for using water and colour to form the magic associated with this medium, Antoinette seeks to convey the emotion and love of what she is painting to the viewer, hence her florals, as she loves her garden and finds tranquility and space working there.
This demonstration is a must for those wanting to improve their watercolour techniques.
